Commands

Frequently used commands can be performed using the following keyboard shortcuts:

CTRL+G Gouraud shading
CTRL+I Centreline interfacing

SHIFT+L Centreline level to surface (section view)
CTRL+O Open file
CTRL+P Print plan view
R Recreate final and formation surface
CTRL+S Save file
CTRL+V or SHIFT+Insert Paste plan from clipboard
X Centreline cross section
CTRL+Z or ALT+Backspace Undo
F1 Open help
F3 Snap to point
F4 Snap to intersection
F5 Snap to line
F8 Snap to orthogonal
ESC Exit command

3D View Movement

Keyboard shortcuts for moving the camera in the 3D view. These shortcuts are especially useful if you are using a laptop without a mouse. For further information on 3D view navigation refer to 3D View Navigation.

Shortcut Movement
SHIFT+Cursor movement Rotate the camera
Arrow keys Pan the camera left, right, forward, backward
SHIFT+Up and SHIFT+Down arrow keys Zoom towards and away from the centre position
Comma Rotate camera left
Full stop Rotate camera right
Backspace Flip the camera to look from the other side of the centre position
