What happens at the junction when the roads have different footway widths, like this?

The Channel/Footway tools Channel Tools button can be used to adjust the footway widths to transition from one width to the other, for example:

In this example, for each side, select the footway on Road 3, add a short parallel Parallel Channel button at the very end to match the width of the footway that it hits on the other road:

Then use the Mitre tool Mitre Channel button to set the fillet radius (between the new width at the very end and the width on the straight part of the footway on Road 3):

There are other possible designs which may be indicated on architects' layouts, but all can be drawn using the Channel/Footway tools.
